1 Kings 8 · Grade 2
The Cloud of Glory
Read the Story
The priests carried the ark of God into His house. They put it in the most holy room. Two stone tablets were in the ark.
Then a cloud filled God's house. It was God's glory. The priests could not stay to serve. God was there with His people.
Solomon prayed. He asked God to hear when His people pray. He said no God is like our God. The people had a big feast. They went home glad for all the good God had done.
Memory Verse
““Blessed be Yahweh, who has given rest to his people Israel, according to all that he promised. There has not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by Moses his servant.”
