1 Kings 7 · Grade 2
Beautiful Things
Read the Story
Solomon built his own house too. It took him thirteen years. It was made of cedar and big stones.
A man named Hiram came from Tyre. He was very skilled at making things from bronze. He made two big pillars for the front of God's house.
Hiram made a huge bowl called the sea. It stood on twelve bronze oxen. He made pots and bowls too. Solomon made a gold altar and gold lampstands. Then all the work was finished.
Memory Verse
“Thus all the work that King Solomon did in Yahweh’s house was finished. Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated—the silver, the gold, and the vessels—and put them in the treasuries of Yahweh’s house.”
