Not Even Half Was Told

Name Date

Read the Story

The queen of Sheba heard of Solomon's fame and of the name of the Lord. She came to Jerusalem to test him with hard questions. She came with a very large group, with camels carrying spices, much gold, and precious stones.

Solomon answered all her questions. Nothing was hidden from him. She saw his house, the food on his table, his servants, and his burnt offerings at God's house. She said she had not believed the reports until she came. Not even half was told her!

She blessed the Lord, who had put Solomon on the throne because He loved Israel. She gave Solomon gold and spices, and Solomon gave her all she wanted. Solomon made a great throne of ivory and gold, with lions on each side. He became greater than all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.

Memory Verse

“All the earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom which God had put in his heart.”
