1 Corinthians 9 · Grade 2

Run the Race

Name Date

Read the Story

Paul worked hard to tell people about Jesus. He could have asked the church to pay him. But he did not. He made tents to earn money.

Paul served all kinds of people. He wanted many people to know Jesus.

Paul said life with Jesus is like a race. Runners train hard. They want to win a prize. Followers of Jesus run for a crown that lasts forever.

Memory Verse

“Don’t you know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run like that, so that you may win.”

1 Corinthians 9:24 (WEB)
