1 Corinthians 4 · Grade 3
Found Faithful
Read the Story
Paul said he and the other leaders were servants of Christ. They were stewards, which means people trusted to take care of something. Paul said, It is required of stewards that they be found faithful.
Paul said only the Lord can judge people's hearts. Some of the Corinthians were proud. Paul said the apostles were often hungry and thirsty. They worked with their own hands. When people cursed them, they blessed.
Paul did not write to shame them. He wrote as a father to his beloved children. He asked them to follow his example. He sent Timothy to remind them of his ways in Christ.
